ABOUT ME
My name is Corderro, a self-taught artist illustrator and designer with over 10 years of experience working in graphite, color pencil, acrylic, watercolor, digital art and large scale murals. It’s always been about more than making art for me — it’s been building legacy, celebrating culture and motivating people to awaken their own creative source. Whether it’s community murals that brighten blocks, or private commissions that memorialize memory and meaning, every piece I create is informed by my conviction that art is a kind of bridge between people, history and possibility.
With my work, I hope to prove that you can influence and succeed in the world from anywhere. I hope to make work that lives well beyond the canvas in other ways: through teaching, storytelling and photographing iconic people who have shaped our world. Honored to have shared my story and creative journey on stages like the Indiana State Arts Homecoming and TEDx, along with other speaking engagements across Indiana. I speak on creativity, entrepreneurship, and using art with purpose—showing how discipline, faith, and vision can turn ideas into impact. Whether I’m talking with students, community leaders, or fellow artists, my goal is the same: inspire people to believe bigger, build boldly, and leave a legacy through what they create.
